Weddings

And foremost, congratulations! I’m so excited for you and your partner to be stepping into this next level of commitment and lifelong friendship. Working together to create your special day is definitely a test on the journey you two have ahead.

So you’ve been probably told by most of your family or friends that your next step is to find a photographer. AND You probably have a certain kind of taste in mind which is why you’re scouring through websites trying to figure out what the best fit is for your wedding day. I know there’s a lot of photographers out there for you so thank you taking the time to creep out my page!

But what’s hard to get across to a client is the relationship you should have with your wedding photographer. I mean, this is a person that you will be spending the next 10 ++ hours with during your wedding day. Not to mention the days leading up to with prepping and support needed. You want to make sure you’ve made the right choice!

All right so let’s start with the basics of what you need to know…

I like simple.

One of my favorite things about the Dallas Olga Photograph +Co attitude is to keep it simple. Straightforward, no surprise add-ons or costs.

So with that I’ll give you the lowdown.

My pricing is a ONE package.

$4975 gets you everything. So what is everything? Let’s take a walk through;

One engagement session (which is a must for multitude of reasons I’d be happy to tell you over the phone)

A boudoir session which includes complementary make up, shooting, and images (you can check out my Boudoir page)

Full day wedding coverage (up to 12 hours)

Mileage included (within Alberta)

ALL rights to images. There’s no “Surprise! You actually have to buy prints!” from me.

An online gallery, availability to share with family and friends

My experience?

Over the past couple of years I’ve shot weddings with guests anywhere from 10 to 250 guests, elopements and gigantic bridal parties. If I had to pick, my favourite would be weddings with no more than 100 guests and maybe a few bridesmaids and groomsmen. I love a good country wedding too! More than happy to go over any details with you and learn as much as I can on our initial visit. Which leads me to my next point.

Next is the engagement session.

You should TALK and meet your photographer.

Thought this point we’ve already had our chat and usually agreed that hanging out would be kind of awesome. So the next time we meet will be an engagement session. Think of it as a couples date night out. This would be where I would intro you to my couples page and what to expect. So I’ll cut this short- Think of it as a date night with a third wheel. I want to learn as much as I can about you and your partner so let’s have an adventure! There are also be lots of questions prior to about your wedding day. I want to get as much information as I can about who and what is important to you. What are you stressing the most about? What are you most

excited about? So these shoots usually take a couple of hours. The first hour talking the second

hour having a ridiculously fun time taking photos.

This I am quite passionate about. You need to talk to your photographers. Interview them.

Learn if you are compatible. I am pretty talkative and loud/borderline obnoxious. I LOVE classic

dad jokes and can be “professionally inappropriate.” So if you think this might work for you guys, feel free to reach out so we can plan a time to chat-phone, zoom, or in person (gasp!).

Checking in on you leading up to.

If you ever need any advice or recommendations for venues, hairstylist, make up artist, dresses.

I’m here for you. Sometimes it’s nice to have someone in your corner with an eye for what you

envision your day. If you’re looking for that Bestie I’m here for you! Be reaching out to you a month, and then a week, and then a few days before your big day to make sure that there’s no last-minute changes. I’d like to go over the itinerary five times just to make sure that I haven’t missed anything. Although it happens and I’m happy to go with the flow, being prepared like the good scout girl I am is important to me to make your day goes smooth as possible.

Day of Wedding.

Depending on what time we agreed that I’d start, I’m there till the bitter end. I want to be there

to document all the real stuff. The things that you may or may not see during the day because it’s pretty overwhelming right? The details in your dad’s embroidered tie, the jokes and laughs the groomsmen have, the emotion your partner gets when they see you walking down the aisle. I’m there for it all!

Whats the Back up plan:

Ok the big elephant in the room- Covid-19 has put a wrench in A LOT of plans for most

weddings. So to reschedule a wedding is pretty stressful. I GET THAT. That’s why I’ve chosen to

limit my weddings booked for the year so that there is wiggle room for every client in case of a

shutdown or watever. Your deposit is transferrable but not refundable. So we can work

together and find a suitable date that works for both parties.

In case of an emergency or “act of God” and I am not able to attend your agreed wedding date.

We have back up photographers. One of the most exciting things about being a part of Dallas

Olga Photography team is that we have a selection of amazing talented photographers to call

upon for back up. Less stress for everyone!!

After Wedding Bliss.

I like to share some highlights with you within the first few days after your wedding so you can relieve some of those fuzzy feels. Then off the the editing room I go. I like to make it a goal to have your entire gallery back within 3-4 weeks at the most. It’s a busy season, so bear with me as I make sure every photo is just right. Expect around 1000+ photos for the entire day.

There’s options to print on our team photo page. Which your welcome to snoop around too. All of your photos will be transferred on a online gallery sent to you by email.

That’s about all I can think of right now. But if I haven’t covered anything here, Be sure to give me a call and we can definitely cover anything that you're wondering about.
